Based on information from CIA police sources, it is believed that Malik Sohail was instrumental in arranging meetings between another suspect, Ahsan Shah, and the primary suspect in the case, Teefi Butt. Shah reportedly provided details about Ameer Balaj’s location to Teefi Butt, including his attendance at a wedding.

Reports about Case
CIA police sources have reported that Ahsan Shah purportedly met Teefi Butt approximately seven to eight times while using a different vehicle on each occasion. He also allegedly disclosed Balaj’s intention to attend the wedding, where he later lost his life to gunfire. Furthermore, Shah is said to have informed Butt that Balaj’s gunmen were not armed with rifles, according to these sources.
The CIA Iqbal Town police, under the direction of SP (Organized Crime) Furqan Bilal, is conducting an investigation into these allegations.
Earlier on Wednesday, reports indicated that Ameer Balaj’s close friend, Ahsan Shah, was detained by the CIA police. On allegations of sharing information about Balaj’s location with the primary suspects in the case.
Why Ahsan Shah did this to Ameer Balaj
Further information from police sources suggests. That Shah had allegedly received a significant sum of Rs50 million for surveilling his friend, Ameer Balaj. The sources also stated that Shah was not present in the country when Ameer was killed. And that he shared information about him with the suspects from Saudi Arabia.
Shah is accused of informing Teefi Butt about the wedding that Ameer Balaj was expected to attend. He was apprehended by the authorities at his home.
